What is happening at El Pueblo? An episode with the new business owners at a unique location in our area

There’s a new, hidden secret in Esperanza at the location of the old Dos Lorenas across from 506. What was once a grumpy supermarket and former restaurant from many years long gone by, now stands an entirely new array of shops & services.

With many not knowing what, or where El Pueblo even is, we felt a great idea might be to introduce some of the newly established businesses, and explain what El Pueblo has to offer.

This episode focuses on the multiple businesses in the big white building, which many Nosara residents, and most Nosara visitors, don’t even know exist.

We are excited to share & encourage you to explore El Pueblo; we have more content coming soon. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy learning hearing from this dynamic group of entrepreneurs!

Below is a brief overview of some of the highlights discussed in the episode:

    • Corrie, owner of Swill Wines, introduces her business and how she is trying to change the idea that you can’t have good wines in Costa Rica.
    • Corrie is passionate about wine, & she loves the supportive community of businesses at El Pueblo and how the different businesses complement each other and work together in cross-promotion efforts.
    • Jess is the owner of Studio Nosara the new hair salon in ‘El Pueblo’
    • She caters to both residents and tourists, has a passion for creative hair styling, and is willing to work based on whatever preferences you might have understanding the different climate here in Nosara for hair as well.
    • Maria, owner of Lobo Nosara, explains her sustainable store’s focus on environmentally friendly products, inspired by her experiences in the Peace Corps.
    • She is now located in the penthouse in ‘El Pueblo’ a much different set-up than her older spot in North Guiones
    • Julia is representing Mamagui, an authentic Italian restaurant that operates as a flexible, shared space within El Pueblo.
    • The Nosara location is a sister restaurant of the first that opened in Samara.
    • Isis, who you might know from her previous podcast is the owner of Nosara Bodywork, expanding her wellness clinic at El Pueblo, offering various services like physical therapy, acupuncture, and biohacking technologies.

Overall, the businesses at ‘El Pueblo’ are excited about their new locations and their variety of different services which complement each other. We hope you enjoy hearing from them!

The Brian Bombard Episode: A Legendary Nosara Tale, Which Continues To Unfold.

Brian has been, still is, & will probably always continue to be many things to me. Above all else, he is a HUGE ball of fun, a great friend & business partner, occasionally an innovative source of stress, and much, much more… Did I mention how much fun he is?

In this episode with B’s (this is what I’ve called him for over a decade now), we explore his past, his present, and his vision for Nosara’s future.

This is a candid conversation, and I grill him pretty hard about being a real estate agent plus ask him how his family could be so wildly involved in saving sooo many animals lives, yet he works in the most vilified industry around here.
