TWINosara 70: Fantastic surf & mesmerizing clear weather end our dry season on high note + Bombero’s:)
As high season draws to a close I want to give thanks for the swells & clear water we recently experienced. This season itself was pretty small surf for the most part but come March & April swells got cranking & we made up for lost ground. You can see in previous episodes we had fun surf the entire season but nothing like the past couple of weeks. Rain is starting to roll in now, crowds are dropping off & Nosara is expecting slowest rainy season & a while business wise. So hit me up if you want to book house or invest in property or just want to play music. Norway is the guest musician & it was great jamming with him. If you’re good enough you might end up on a TWIN video or part of one of our albums (several being worked on right now). Hope you enjoy TWIN 70 🙂

Playa Guiones at it’s peak level of beauty: April 19th 2025
It’s Semana Santa so town is crowded & our biggest swell of the year is over. But water is absolutely incredible & we hope you enjoy it. We have another swell on way next week but in meantime get out there & enjoy how beautiful this place is before the rainy season gets here.

TWIN 68 might be best This Week in Nosara so far. Epic surf, loads of community stuff & scenes from life around here. Big swell just came through with hard offshore winds so bunch of this footage in here, we journey all sides of Pelada then take a ride to Main Beach Guiones, all kinds of locals ripping & we explore surf each day for the past week. Hope you enjoy the music it’s some new stuff alongside us After Surf Band folk & new guests passing through who rip. These are live takes w/behind the scenes in hearing how improvised songs came to be. Shout out to Tall Danny & Norway for being on a couple of the tracks you hear.

This Week In Nosara #40 Late September 2024: Surf, Water Moratorium Updates, Old Honolei, Happy Birthday Brian!!!
This Week In Nosara #40 is late September 2024…Here’s basic outline of this episode:
- Some quality surf photos & a couple videos from Kaiya at Surfing Nosara.
- Take a look from the air Playa Guiones overlooking Las Huacas, Pelada, North Guiones, Main Street Calle Modelo, J & K sections, South Guiones, Punta Garza, Esperanza & South Las Huacas
- Updates from the Playas de Nosara ASADA available to everyone on their Facebook page. They are providing updates about water outages, updates to the system, which areas are to be affected, community updates & answering questions.
- The biggest update is water moratorium in place for new water approval letters. The ASADA can not say when this will change because we need to provide 20 year in advance coverage so need new wells & legal processing all to take place
- Rich predicts existing construction & properties with water meters like K45 & ones with approved water letters like R6 will become highly sought after. However, there are not many properties with water letters in place
- K45 is going on the market for sale (3000m2 with ocean view in K section & a water meter). It is the old Honolei Restaurant & house Brian & Kyle Bombard used to live in. Rich had birthday party there 15 years ago photo with a young Brian in the background & ironically today is Brian’s birthday! Didn’t know about that till after this was done.
